With a long career in the development cooperation department and excellent technical training, she has become an expert in justification, transparency and internal control of non-profit organisations.
Her knowledge of the language and practices used as well as the international cooperation sector's financial systems allow the service to be adapted to client needs. Being responsible for NPOs (especially development NGOs), she plans, supervises, develops NGO financial account audits and is in charge of the economic-financial reviews of supporting accounts for projects which are run by the NGO and co-financed by public funds. In addition to this, she is an expert in the preparation and contents of project supporting accounts. She organises and develops training courses for technical and administrative staff managing cooperation projects. She advises clients on internal control in general and on the requirements of public and private co-financiers, both national NGOs and counterparties. She offers consultancy in transparency and good NPO governance as well as on strategic plan implementation systems. She is also responsible for developing systems and work procedures for the firm in her specialist area.
Thanks to her linguistic capabilities and international focus, she offers effective and efficient solutions to clients on the base of PrimeGlobal and Third Sector Auditors.
Mariane Zoghbi worked in a European research institute (IRELA), in administrative-accounting departments in international companies and finally joined the world of cooperation in the year 2000 in order to carry out administrative-financial reviews of NGO projects subsidised by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
With a degree in Economics and a tertiary degree from a French university, she has over 20 years' experience in auditing with wide-ranging knowledge of non-profit organisations.
Foreign languages: English and French with knowledge of Portuguese, Arabic and Italian.
